Sunday Blahs Again at Advanced Access

Well, here we go again on Sunday with another roller coaster ride with our Advanced Access site which has been up and down most of the day. If the site doesn’t load, then it is the IDX which won’t open to let viewers see listings. Only one techie has been on the forum and he is a newbie (only eight posts) and his response was ” I was able to view it fine…………”. Poor fellow, they must have given him the weekend broom and that’s the best he can do. It seems like we are seeing quite a few new CS individuals on the forum so there must be some turnover going on. Now, if they would only start at the top and do some real house-cleaning until this ship gets uprighted before they have no clients left.

  1. Dominion is huge, it won’t go out of business. But we can at least try to warn new customers how bad their customer service is!

  2. There was a time I would recommend AA to anyone viewing my site and asking me what my feelings were about Advanced Access. I was always happy to recommend them because of what they USED to be like. Now, even if I were to get a free month of hosting for referring someone, I wouldn’t do it. There is hardly a week that goes by that I don’t get an inquiry due to winning in their last three annual website contests as well as being a Featured Agent at one time. Those links and articles generate interested agents but who in their right mind would recommend this company now? They can’t take care of their current clients, let alone any additional new ones!

  3. There are only a handful that visit their forum anymore. Many that used to be there have moved on to new web providers. New customers are oblivious to the problems as they don’t visit the forum. With some 30,000 clients, it will be a joyous occassion for AA management when those that recognize the problem and are vocal about them are gone.
    Ever consider that their stategy may be to let those who know something about web sites, optimization, etc move on due to what they do know…. vs the other 29,000+ who don’t have a clue? Life would be easy for them at that point…

  4. I don’t think AA made their websites for people that “know something about web sites.” I think they made them for Real Estate Agents.

    If I knew more about how to make a web site, perhaps I would have made my own.

    @Pissed off,

    Are you doing anything to make a positive impact at the forums? Why would people want to read the forums? Because there is controversy, or because there is something worth reading? When was the last time you contributed to the forums with something positive? Shared some knowledge, or asked for help? Advanced Access’s forums have not broken, they still function just as they always have last time I checked.

    Sure, problems happen. They also get fixed. Answers come as they are found.
